Killed my Warn full floating axle

It was a bad in the garage yesterday. My CJ5 has an AMC 20 w/ Warn free rolling floating axle kit in it. The axle seal was leaking gear oil. So, I pulled it all down, packed bearings, replaced seals and all is good in the universe. While on a test drive, the hub starts smoking. Something went wrong and destroyed the axle, spindle, bearings, and lock out hub. Obviously, I overlooked something.
Now my major concern is finding parts. Randy's bought all that stuff when Warn discontinued it. However, Randy's is not doing anything with it. I really don't want to go back to one piece shafts. Anybody have anything laying around?

You may want to check "herm the overdrive guy" site. I know he has D44 parts, but not sure on the AMC20.

Herm doesn't do anything with the AMC 20 but you might contact R&P at 503-557-8911. They still have some NOS Warn FF stuff. At one time they were the largest stocking Warn axle dealer on the west coast. I know they have some axle shafts, spindles, etc. but not sure all that's left.
You will need to tell them if it's wide track, narrow track, centered, etc. If you have an axle shaft length that would be even better.

Wow! Now I am worried about spares, when I need them, for my Warn full floater. Please keep us updated on your hunt for parts. Thanks, and Good Luck!

To me, the bigger question is what caused the failure?

R&P...meaning Randy's Ring Pinion? Called them today, they said they don't have a thing.

What BKD said. I should've been clearer. R&P 4 WD Parts Inc. Randy's Ring and Pinion purchased the rights, old stock, and tooling from Warn but has been sitting on it. They have slowly started bringing out some products in dribs and drabs but aren't much help with replacement parts. R&P was involved in some development and testing of the Warn ff kits. They were building the
Before Warn was. They were also the largest Warn stocking ff dealer on the west coast before Mike Warn sold the company. They are slowly bringing back the ff kits on their own using internal locking hubs.
