Incredible work, I totally missed where this build took a turn until I started back at the beginning. I just read the whole thread because I didn't want to ask something already explained (my reason will surprise you).
Here's my question: Who's the chick on the poster and is she cleaning a bowling ball?

On a side note, I have a friend in his mid 30's with similar fab skills. It'll be amazing to see what he'll be able to accomplish in another 30 years!

Thanks for the complements on the Jeep and on your friend if he stays with it long enough , pays attention and his eye sight doesn't fail him , he'll be just fine!

And the picture on the wall?.........I must first say your taste's are much like mine , I also enjoy looking in the background at walls to see what kind of Garage Wall Art is present.......wasn't there just a Post here lately to Garage Wall Art?

Most of mine have been cleaned up due to the kids......but some still remain.

That's a Gal named Angela that is a friend and now wife of a Good friend who is also one of the race track paramedics , posing with a Motorcycle helmet & not a bowling ball. Although I'm sure in either case it would have helped sales. Obviously well endowed she has modeled and shot many features for magazine articles with Race Cars including mine.

On another wall which you may have missed is another good friend Linda Vaughn of Hurst Shifter fame......Obviously much younger there as we both were when she posed with my Race Car at a Car Show years back.....

Oh.......and Thanks again for looking at the Jeep!

The helmet was my 2nd choice. I was pretty sure it wasn't what I thought it was but in the 80's...Anything's possible.

From the angle of the pic of the poster I thought of this:

Unfortunately not............I am making some small progress on the axle debacle I'm having when I have some free time........but my other part of life keeps getting in the way of my free Jeep time.....Been busy trying to get a roof on the side of a building I own , need to free up some space inside........hoping to get it done by the end of the month and back on the Jeep project again!..............Thanks for asking.

Well , 6 part time weeks later , I still have all my fingers and the roof is up on my building.......still have a few details to finish up on top , and I will be doing some insulation and lighting inside but for now the crunch is over and today I started to clean up inside and will move some stuff in there over the next few days. Tired of getting cooked up on that metal roof , eating sawdust and cutting long metal roofing panels to fit the compound angles............Time to put my bags and wood working tools away and get back on the old CJ6 project...........glad this is almost behind me.
