My passenger seat bracket is fubar and I need ideas for an easy and efficient mount.

    Thanks!

I don't have a tool box so I copied the driver side and added a slotted bracket (drilled and cut nut) to mimic the original for the seat to pivot on.

I will add that I still have the tool box. I have seen some, but haven't been able to locate them again.

Good luck. Passenger seat bracket was one of the hardest items to source for my build. I have not seen a good homemade that kept the toolbox in play.

I think you could make a pretty good one from some 1" square tubing. Make the two halves and weld on two tabs to bolt them together and keep the flip forward capability for toolbox access. There are some OEM ones available here in Colo - not sure its worth it to you to get them to TX. Here would be some contacts around here that most likely have it....

These guys (Schlepy brothers) have quite a lot of stuff - one is in Bellvue and one is in Laporte - very close together. I found some gas tank hangers and my early driver side seat bracket from these guys :

Post #34 on page 2 of my build thread shows what I did. My seats have a built in forward tilt feature. I hinged the rear of the seat and have hitch pins on the front.

I found your photos, I think I may try and go that route, do you have any photos of the rear of the seat?
