I need new tires on my fc. Currently running 7x16 NDT'S. they are weather checked pretty bad.
Thinking some mini swamper? Your guys thoughts? I like the ndt look, but I want a better riding tire. I do like the thin profile as well. 20201012_112115.jpg

I just grabbed a set of 31x10.50-15 swampers off my green narrow track with no lift to try on my brown narrow track with someone's homebuilt lift up front. No idea if they are gonna clear the front wheel wells yet. Got one more brake line to swap and it might actually drive. lol

I would say your best bet is to not go any larger than what is on it. Narrow looks good and will drive and work better. I'd be tempted to do a set of the STA super tractions in the same size.

    WOW that’s a “really”nice looking FC !

    The STA ‘s come in 6.50 or 7.50 x 16.
If you have 4.5” wheels the 6.50 tires would be OK
If you have 5.0” wheels the 7.50 tires would be better imho.
The 7.50 STA’s are all 8 ply rated and come in tube type or tubeless.
I have a new set of the 7.50 tubeless and they are usually much more expensive than the 6.50 STA’s.

Nother vote for 7.50 sta if they fit.
I thought the tread pattern was different... less aggressive on the 6.50.

I suggest you go to the 2a forum where I posted comparison pics for several of the best skinny tire options going.

I'd go with this option, you'll like the radials. They drive a LOT better.

Im running BFG commercial TA traction somethings on my FC170 and love them.

I am also running the 7.50 x 16 BFG tires on my Rovers and they are also awesome, but for the primary street use of the FC I think the Commercial TA tires are far better suited

That's a really good looking FC! Have you ever been the FC Roundup in Phoenix? I know it's a long way from you. We had flights, hotel, and car rental reserved to go this past spring, but Covid changed all that. Hoping to go this spring. Your FC would fit right in.
