Looks good! What are the seats out of? I replaced the drivers seat on ours with a gm front seat and it is so much more comfortable, but my wife didn't want me to replace the passenger seat for some reason. The drivers seat is sitting a little high (I actually kind of like it) but should probably find a way to lower it some. It's a power seat but even at it's lowest setting it is pretty high. I mounted it on top of the original mounting hardware.

I wish our doghouse had some cup holders! We are using the kind for on the door hooking into the window channel but hook them on the top of the doghouse instead. They don't stay put very well. We also have a little floor console we bought that has a couple of cup holders, but they are too far down. We don't want to put a taller console in as they wife and kids use the area between the seats to pass back and forth while traveling.

All four of the seats are from the 2nd row out of Honda Odysseys. They have the seat belt latch built into the seats, which is great for the front (I also grabbed the belts from the donor), but I removed them from the back seats and replaced them with lap belts for the kids. The kids seats even have cup holders built in.

That wooden cup holder was functional, but it’s broken and hideous. I’ll rebuild it (some day) out of something more attractive.

Now you just have 25ft more to go with the grey and black theme.

Against my wishes, that’s only for the cab. My wife says the gray is too “institutional.” The rest is getting some color.

So you replaced the seatbelts in the cab with the rear seat belts from the Honda? Was it very difficult? My seatbelt is something I am not happy with as I am still using the original floor mounted buckle and original belt.

I used the front belts from the Honda. The clips were the same as the rear and were a better choice than the rears for some reason, but I can’t remember why.
I wouldn’t say difficult, but it wasn’t easy. It took some major rework of the original Ford mounts to fit the Honda parts. What complicated things was that the driver’s side assembly mounts halfway up the B-pillar, and the passenger’s side mounts to the floor. The passenger’s side needed an extension to be able to retract far enough to reset the ratchet. It’s not pretty (the parts are exposed because I didn’t bother making covers to hide them). The Honda assemblies mounted inside the minivan’s unibody, so the mounts were backwards.

It was a headache, but the original Ford belts were the pits and had to go. I’ll get some pics later.

Many times, on a Ford, you can remove the adapter, and run a WIX 1068 or 1312, which will fit in the space, where a 1515(FL1A) won't. It's a smaller filter, so obviously less filter media, but if you're doing your oil changes on some sort of schedule, this isn't an issue. Real common with hotrodders and Ford Engines, as they often interfere with the front crossmember.

At least on my adapter, it’s where the oil cooler lines are plumbed in.

I'll need to check ours when I get it out of storage in the spring. If I can eliminate that adapter I'll jump on that!

Yep, also common, there's another adapter that's just "flat" (damned if I can remember the part number, but FORD Earl's Performance 510ERL Earl's Performance Oil Filter Bypass Adapters | Summit Racing is an aftermarket one), but pretty common on F250/350 with 460's and just a passthrough for the filter without angling it, that the smaller (WIX 1312) will fit, you can just eliminate the oil cooler from the system (probably not my preferred option on something like a motorhome), or you could run a new line from one side of the cooler to the oil pressure sender port, and figure out another place to run the return to. There's options that are better than the stock one, agreed it's a bad design.

If they would have had 3 mounting holes into the block outside the o-ring perimeter to mount the adapter to the block it would have been so much more reliable.

The bedroom is closer to finished.

We were cleaning up around the house a few weeks ago, and I found a quart of unopened mixed paint. It’s an ugly color, and I have no idea what we got it for. Since we couldn’t agree on a color for the walls in the bedroom, why not use a color neither of us like! :D

It looks even worse in the pic, like OD green. It’s more of a sand color. It reminds me of the color of the Desert Storm Hummers. Most of it will get covered with curtains and wall art anyway. Anything is better than the flowered contact paper.

We’ll work on cramming the queen mattress in there this weekend. I’m not optimistic the mattress will fit without destroying it in the process.

Not when you try to do anything else in that same shop.

    But yes, it is.
