    Hey all,

Starting a partout on one of my spare axles, D27 from a Commando. Teardown began tonight, will be tearing it down more sunday and adding pictures. All prices are OBO. Plus shipping or meetup if you're local. Can do most methods of payment, PayPal, Venmo, etc.

M54A Warn hubs for parts. Accidentally broke the plastic retainers inside, not sure how useable these are in this state. 50$ obo. Come with bolts and all.

Hub? I couldn't sell the good one I had, this one looks like junk. Free with any purchase if you think you can use this sad thing. Studs are welded in, some badly.

Once again I will be adding more parts as I tear down. R&P (3.73) carrier, axle shafts, etc.

Good set of 10" brakes there with all the hard to find self adjusting hardware!

I know someone somewhere can use it, and is probably looking for it!

What are you asking for the 10” backing plate assemblies? Might be interested.

Sorry Donny, thought I had a price on them. 100$ for the pair and I will have pictures of the other side. Come complete minus drums, ready to be gone through.

You didn't mention steering knuckles, so this is a long shot. I am looking for a two hole knuckle if you happen to have one.

I will double check, as I think the 2 hole knuckle is found on Commandos(?). This axle has both knuckles but I don't remember it having a two hole knuckle.

Some Commandos had them but only yhe ones with factory Saginaw steering.

Ah, this Commando was Ross steering.

Some 27s from other applications had them. My unmolested 67 CJ5 has two hole knuckles both sides but still has the Ross steering.

Yep, had me puzzled. I suppose it is possible the front axle was replaced at some point, but according to son of the man who owned it since 1968 nothing was ever done to the Jeep other than its use on his fathers car lot. Never seen another Jeep with two hole knuckles on both sides before this one.

    nickmil In mothballs.

Right hand drive applications would commonly have 2 hole knuckles on both sides. I’ve seen IH Scouts and tons of DJ’s with them. If it were originally spec’d as right hand drive for export or the assembly line ran out of single hole knuckles on the assembly line would make sense.

Sorry, haven't had a chance to take this thing down more. From looking at the steering knuckles before I brought the axle in, they looked to be in good shape, but need a good cleaning (mud, grease, surface rust). Will try to get pics tomorrow. Each knuckle is one hole. Asking 30$ a piece OBO. Not proud of this stuff, just looking to get what's fair out of it.
