Hello and thanks for taking time to read this.

Can someone provide measurements, or direct me to where I could find them to tell me where the passenger seat should be mounted on a MD Juan Willys MB body tub?

The drivers side has the holes in the tub, the passenger side does not, since the frames are different LH and RH seats, where should the passenger front holes be? As measured from the passenger body threshold. or any other datum point. Yes the seat rests against the rear fender well, but laterally speaking, where should the passenger seat frame set?

    Thank you!

You probably should join the G503.com forum, and ask those boys the question. Not a lot of WW2 Jeepers on this forum, though there are several very knowledgeable.

On the G503 forum they have a "Jeep Draw" database that has just about any information you could want about WW2 Jeeps, and plenty of people who know where every bolt hole should be.

Thanks Oldpappy, I tried the G50 3 forum, the administrator deleted my post from the technical knowledge database forum, with no reason given, I am a long standing member ( with no political posts or comments ), I can only guess he felt that a reproduction question was out of place in an original vehicle forum.

That is odd, but you should still be able to access Jeep Draw.

Yes, I thought so too, I did find Jeep Draw, but unless I missed it after two searches I could not find the seat hole locations.

I would just position the seat up against the wheel house support and drill the holes where the feet hit the floor. It is not like this is an original MB, and anyone who knows much about Jeeps will be able to tell right off it is a MB body mounted on a CJ5 frame, so a couple of bolt holes not being in precisely the correct place doesn't really matter.

I am building a "MB Clone" using a reproduction MB body mounted on a 48 CJ2A frame. I just like the look of a WW2 Jeep, but I don't expect it to fool anyone who knows Jeeps.
