Ls Swapped Postal Jeep

Looks like a decent swap. Needs brake upgrades now. I don’t think the stock 10” drums will do much.

It's a 4.8 LS, why bother? Mrs Jeepguy has a Tahoe with that engine & it's a total ....of course, it weighs a lot more than a DJ.

Ultimate sleeper.. I like it.. low buck go fast and it's under the radar. Everyone said the same when I built a 79 Ford Fiesta and that thing was a hoot to drive..

 

But it could be swapped out for something bigger.

 

I will say, the bullet holes are a nice touch.

 

Jonah's stretched 3B seems to scoot pretty darn well with a 4.8 LS in it.
A Tahoe is way too heavy for a 4.8.....

 

Yeah I wish she hadn't bought it, it's a turd.
I have thought about dropping a 6.0 in it and putting the 4.8 in my Commando...

 

There is a fix for that:

I remember a mid-60’s Ford Econoline phone company van (green with painted over “Cincinnat Bell”) that had a Chrysler hemi stuffed in it. It beat a lot of muscle cars on Saturday night street racing for a few weeks, until everyone learned not to mess with it.
This Postal is even the same color.
