So nobody answered me. Did Sparky really have a problem or was he just testing us?

Glenn answered your question right after you asked.

Do you really think I would've gone through four months of not enjoying driving my Jeep just for "fun"?

There are three other members here, one who lives with me and had to put up with my foul mood on several occasions, that are here in town. I think you'd know if I were driving it.

I know you're teasing Jeff, but this whole thing still irritates me, even now that it's fixed.

Hey Sparky....my JEEP is running bad and I have no idea what the problem is. You wanna try to troubleshoot it with me?

    Needs a new engine.

Nah....plenty of life left in it. Almost feels like it could be drivetrain related, minus the engine.

Needs a new radiator cap? I'd take the old one off. And buy a new radiator cap along with another Jeep to drive under the new cap. R)

Don't let it irritate you, there are a lot more important things to worry about than that. :)

Clearly, what is needed here is a Reader's Digest solution. "Sparky's woe: now in condensed form!"
