Mine is a 67 with no air pump, and has a similar tube on the oil bath filter, albeit it points upward and is open so I think you are GTG IMHO.

FWIW my 67 Dauntless has the same "rocker type" lockdown clamp as shown by Ollie 2009, and it's also what's shown in parts manual Group 15 L-7...
