ive always been interested in medical stuff.. well, since ive been grown... but i dont think i have the smarts for it...

i DO love woodworking though.. im more of a rough carpenter than a finish guy, although if im left alone, i can usually make it work and look ok..

good luck in your studies my friend! and keep in touch!!

      Hey MK,

no worries, besides family always comes first. I'm glad you where able to pick up a new job in the field that you love. :)

I used to do construction, Finishing cabinets to be specific. I can put a mean finish on a set of cabinets :) and glad for those skill I learned, It will come in handy later in life. However, Medical stuff is of interest to me and I recently moved to continue on with education so my jeep hasn't been worked on much either.

Thanks for responding, glad that you and your family are doing fine,

      Randy

      TexasBlues,

You still in the Marietta area? I have a 1967 CJ-5 that I may have a few questions about.

I *thought* I answered your message...but now I'm not sure. If I did then just delete this one.

The Jeeps are in with the Chrysler stuff...sandwiched between Ford and GM I think, toward the back left of the lot. You can do an inventory search for Jeep, J10, in North Atlanta and it will tell you the row number...I think it was 41 or something.

I would definitely send them an email asking how to pull an engine. I saw an "A" frame that can be wheeled over to the truck, but there was no block and tackle, you might have to provide your own. Once you get it out you can ask them to send back a fork-lift and they'll take it up front for you to pay. If you haven't been to Pull-A-Part you might want to read the rules on the web page...they don't allow certain things (or people under 16) in the yard.

I think the price is good too. The motor looked relatively un-molested when I was there. I removed the wiring harness and the alternator bracket, but the rest was there and didn't look like it was tore up. I put the oil cap back on the filler and a air filter lid on the carb to help keep out the elements.
