That's gorgeous! What is the blade material? Just curious, how much does a knife like that sell for?

The blade is Damascus steel or folded steel, it two different types of carbon steels forged welded together. This knife sold for 180.

I hope to have this lake ready this summer. Bass boats are very common in these parts. I have had several over the years but not in the last 5 years. Ibought this 16' 1984 skeeter recently. I need to rebuild the lower unit, replace a lot of wiring, install a new tach, sonar, seats, livewell pumps, bilge pump and a few other things. It has a '91 suzuki 55 Hp. It runs great but the prop shaft is bent, that's why it needs a rebuild.

My neighbor has a '25 Sea Ray with a 454 and Mercruiser outdrive. Thank you, Jeeps cost less. I've worked on the outdrives on both of his boats. I'm happy sitting on the beach with a cocktail.
Again, my brother has had the family boat for about 16 years, other than last summer when it tried to sink he has had no problems.
2 teenage girls, you figure it out.

I'm not going to laugh, both of my grandmothers had treadle sewing machines. I transplanted my mothers Singer into an antique cabinet. I have an older Pfaff 130 and the neighbor lady still uses her treadle Singer for small jobs. A friend has an industrial machine and he sews leather for the Harley folks and is in to the reinactment scene so he sews up clothing as well.

Ive got a 1945 singer 99 as well gonna treadle that one too. Both were very cheap and needed some work. The 1915 new home will sew 8 layers of top material.
    Definitely a learning process.

I used to have a garage I could actually park in. I keep getting rid of "stuff" but still can hardly walk around in it. Those transfer case levers can be a bit tough on the 'ol shin bones and why do I have 4 tablesaws, all of those old Volvo B18 parts, the spare 225, etc.? A stack of wood on one side and a stuffed tool box and bench on the other side. (Only about 1/2 of my mechanical tools, the other half is in a bin in the back of the Jeep).
Then there is the shed and enclosed trailer...
