Clutch Linkage Pedal Height Disappearing?

    A silicone spray would work for a start to see if improves performance. Sure can't hurt as long as you keep it away from the clutch disc.

    Sorry to get back so late I haven’t had much time with school starting back up. Will straight WD-40 work for the lube? Or does it have to be silicone? The drive to and from school is short enough to where the clutch problems do not present themselves(3-5 miles) but anything much after it becomes nearly impossible to drive

    WD-40 wouldn't have any staying power because it's about as thin as water, but it would serve the purpose of testing for an improvement as Walt said.

    It might even be better since WD-40 is a solvent/penetrant.

    Ok cool. I’ll try the wd-40 and then when I get time I’ll go buy a can of the silicone stuff

    Just please don't accept WD40 as a lubricant. It's ok for checking, but, It is more of a solvent.

    Don't use during winter as it will freeze (WD40).
