Not really sure where to post this...
Has anyone put Roxor wheels on a Jeep? Any reason that they won't work?
The steel ones are 16x7, 5 on 5.5 1/2 and they're on Mahindra's website for about $41 each....

and before you ask, yes I would paint them a different color!

Those look like a good call for 16" steelies at an affordable price. Need to check if they have a 4 1/4" center hole.
By the way, I saw a Roxor on the highway this past Saturday. Yes, it had a licence plate on it.

At that price, and from that source, I'd really want to know how strong they are.

A lot of aftermarket wheels are quite flimsy.

One of my concerns as well.

    They’ll work fine. They are 5 on 5.5 16s.

Plenty of legal ways to plate these and operate on highway.

Is there a Roxor dealer in Colorado Springs where you can look at them first?

You might find some take offs from somebody that upgraded.

They had Roxor's at the Detroit Auto Show with the body off, they are built heavy duty looking to me. Everything looks like a little overkill heavy for it's size.

I’ll prolly have a set of take-offs here in a few weeks. I wanna get some break in miles on it before I level it.

I'm looking for a set of narrow, stock-ish rims for my 64. I'd love to have some more intel before I decide to go one way or another. If I can't find KH's or similar, these might be a good option.

Any chance you could swap out a couple wheels/tires on to one of your Jeeps, snap some pics, get some measurements?

One thing I was noticing is that the Roxor actually weighs more than our CJ's. I think it was about 3050lbs curb weight to our 2400-2600-ish curb weight.

Been reading several forums and blog posts searching for evidence of wheel failures and I haven't been able to find anything related to that specific issue.

I am seeing quite a few reports of preferring the aluminum wheels in area's that use road salt, simply due to the original stock wheel being steel and prone to corrosion.

I have the aluminum wheels with the BFG upgrade. The "LE" packGe at the time. I have a ton of construction going on now, so I can't make any promises for a few weeks.

We got a set of takeoffs from a friend. We've put them on the '56 CJ6 and the '63 Tux, work fine. Some like the black color, I'd prefer that they were white. I rebuilt the steering in the 6 last summer, hence the jack stands.
