IMG_0232.png I’m looking for the correct placement of the Warn locking hub sticker on the dash. I haven’t found many pictures of it on what I assume are “original-ish” early CJ’s. The ones I’ve found have it near the inboard edge of the grab handle. Is that correct?

Mine was located on the left side of dash about 2”’ up from bottom. Most of these were applied by the dealership as most hubs were installed at the dealer

I agree....there really isn't a "correct" location for the Warn decals. Those decals were applied by either the dealer or the owner upon installation of the hubs (which were not a factory option on the early CJ's).

Thanks guys. That makes sense, considering I’m finding very little uniformity.

I’ve seen a couple examples of the locking hub decals on both the inside and outside the glovebox lid. Usually, the decals are anywhere from the left side to around center of the dash. No “correct” location.

I took this picture of my dash around 1979, maybe 80. It was pretty original at that point. 1971 CJ5 built in April, '71.
