I'm in the beginning stages of restoring a 62 3b. The major part of this restoration will be fixing the tub. I've seen repro side panels on Walck's for the 3b, but can't find them anywhere else. I can only ever seem to find the parts for 2a or 3a.

will 2/3a side panels fit a 3b? Why is Walck's the only place that lists panels for the 3b? Am I getting bad info from somewhere?

Otherwise...what's a fair price to pay for a used 3b tub?

My buddy has a 3B that needs tub repair also. He picked up a 3A tub with a dented cowl but basically decent shape. As the 3b cowl is different than the 3A, He plans to splice his good 3B cowl to the 3A tub. I couldn't see any major differences in the side panels. Some early Jeeps had indentations on the body for tools, etc. but I don't think that applies to the 3B. Contact Shelby ( I think) at Jeep Panels Plus. He can rebuild your old tub or sell you the panels you need. HTH

If it Helps Walck's is a quality vendor!

You may pay more for some things but you get what you pay for from them!

I guess the main reason that I asked is because I have a commercial account with 4wd Hardware. Was hoping to take advantage of that :)
