Loaded with parts, tools and camping gear headed out to the 2017 Willys Reunion in Indiana.

Hard to see the trailer, but it's standing in as a mobile work bench while I repair my generator in Ellijay, GA on the way home from Ohio last year.

 

So you drove a 3B round trip Florida to Ohio with a trailer? Do you have an overdrive in that Jeep?

 

Yes, and Indiana the year before. Ohio again soon this year.

And yes, o/d. Otherwise, stock until I added front disc brakes this year.

on a side note per the receipt given
Gross weight: 2.38 tons
Tare: 1.89 tons
Net: .49 tons
So I had about 1000 lbs of roofing and wood in the back
The jeep and trailer combo with me in it only weighs in at 3780 lbs. I have seen somewhere online around 700lbs for the trailer weight. I do have a tailgate and spare tire on the trailer so it might be a little heavier. so the jeep with the hard top no doors weighs ~3000lbs

one more - hauling oak

 

First test of towing the new trailer with the M38A1. Quick trip to the scrap yard. Me, Jeep and empty trailer weigh about 3100 lbs. Trailer appears to be a David Bradley (no data plate present). Just finished overhauling it. It's finished with Rust-Oleum hunter green with black trim. Tires are 6.50-16.

I'm really glad I cut a gate in it right now.

 

2200lb scrap run. It started to sway a couple times had to slow it down. Theres a floor and sides to a willys wagon in there.
