Focker, have looked thru your build and impressed to say the least. Looking at doing a 74 cj5 and really like the flattie fenders. Your attention to detail, even detailing the engine like you did takes a lot of time and patience.
Very great build, lot of pride in your work.

I did a search on how to clean parts and found the soda trick. It stated it was non toxic. After doing a couple of parts, found all the grass in that area gone the day after! Fortunately, it came back a few weeks later. But beware, it will kill anything green on contact.

Nothing to update other than I fired up the Jeep for 1st time since winter. It was purring so perfectly, I had to share.

Idling high with the manual choke on. Please excuse the dust.

    Sounds like a Dauntless!
What radiator is that? I like the low profile, and mine has one foot in the grave.

What paint did you use for your headers?
    How has it held up?

Any issues or concerns with your ammo can glove box....still holding up fine with only 4 mounting screws. I think this could work well for the wagon. Was thinking of welding nuts to the outside of the can to make mounting easier - especially for the top, and spacers would be needed. The wagon doesnt have the gusset support to cut around, but it does have the lid arm that i will have to cut a relief slot for....Its not super deep but the wagon has the heater fan and blower motor behind it, so there isn't a ton of room anyway. I think the OEM depth was 9", so it'll be a couple inches less deep....

It's still as good as the day I installed it.

From way back on page 1 & 2, I want to do a fender mod like this on my 5. How did you end up attaching the rear part of the tube to the body? Are there any other folks here who have similar mods/fenders? Thanks

Nothing special. I drilled a hole and simply ran the tube through the fender. Since it's welded to the length of the fender, no additional support was needed.

    No

I would like factory fenders, but since these were banged up I went for this mod.
