Ross' box bushing size

Got a Crown Ross' box sector shaft repair kit today and have issues. The new bushings have a smaller OD (approx. .007) than the old bushings and will turn when in their proper place in the box. I think Not Good. The new bushings can be pushed onto the new shaft by hand.
What should the OD of the new bushings be for an F head CJ5?
I'm afraid that I may have the same issue if I get a replacement kit.
    Anybody know the proper size?
    Thanks,
    Tommy

I recently rebuilt my box with a kit from Walcks......it's installed so I can't measure the bushings, but they were a tight fit in the casting and needed to be reamed a bit for the shaft to fit in....

I rebuilt mine a couple of years ago, I'll scrounge around later today see if I kept the old one. Mine is a V6.

The ross box is different size between the F head and V6. The V6 is quite a bit bigger so size of bushing will not be the same.

I believe the V6 box is bigger than the one for the F-head, and there are at least 3 different sizes of boxes that would bolt on.....F-head, M-38, V-6, and I think M-38A1 is the same as the V-6? Walck's should have all of the info and the proper parts.

    I see Walt concurs.

I found the old ones today when looking for something else.....OD is 1.002"....but these have been installed and pushed out. They are split(came that way). Measurement is with the split compressed....
