I absolutely love wiring! I know I do because everyday I go out and stare at the GM engine harness and Jeep body harness on my rig for hours without even touching it! Maybe I should come up there and stare at yours for awhile.

For reals you need to come up with a new project and film it rather than blog about it. Maybe start a YT channel called Bad Recession Motorsports along with a patreon page and watch the $$$ flood in as you build. This is binky quality content. How's your accent?

    Small update.

I cut some hand-holes in the shipping box and finally got the axle sent off to Moser. The price of shipping about broke me.

A shipment of parts arrived today. Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, 3 different shaft seals, and a 3-row aluminum radiator for a Honda Civic that was $72 shipped from eBay. I have no clue how they make money on these things.

I love the ease of maintenance on these engines. Pulleys come off easily, cam timing covers and belt come off to access the water pump and front case. This comes off to access the countershaft and crank seals. Camshaft seal is accessed at this point too by pulling the valve cover. If all of this (belt, seals, gaskets, water pump) is replaced at the belt intervals at 80k miles (~$70), they never have a chance to leak.

I hit it with some scotch brite, but overall it’s pretty clean for 225k

I placed another order for a few more gaskets and seals. Valve cover, oil pan, rear main seal and cover gasket, and the front main cover gasket. Might as well do it all, right?

They messed up my order and sent a front main seal (which I already have), three of the four individual gaskets I ordered, then a complete crankcase seal kit in place of the oil pan gasket! Umm... ok! :coffee:That has everything I needed but the valve cover gasket. I wanted to order that, but that kit alone was $60, not the $29 I spent on the whole order. Spares are good to have.

Axle shaft should be back here tomorrow.

I just landed 2 small- and one medium-sized jobs, so this is getting mothballed again for at least a month.

    Ok... axle arrived.
    Place your bets.
Did the axle return in the fancy wooden box?
