I used the old hard lines, but where they convert to soft, I used
    Centric Parts 150.66055 Brake Hose

Just finished my conversion. Got my parts off a salvage 1995 tracker. I can stop!!! Back brakes are still 11 inch drum, but thinking seriously about going 4 wheel disk.......

Do you have a single or dual master?

Dual. I did away with the original when I first bought my Jeep. Got rid of floor pedals and put in swing pedals and a Nissan Sentra brake booster.

What source did you use for the pedals?

have you looked in the Roxor thread section about this? I haven't gotten them, I was only providing another source. 66 dollars for the brake/fuel pedal assembly. its a lot easier than trying to scavenge junkyard parts. for me anyways. no cool junkyards around here. they only keep cars that are 10 years old and newer.

Pedals off a salvage 2002 Mazda B2200. Used the Clutch master and a toyota slave on my hydrolic clutch conversion. Used a Nyssan Sentra Booster and a 71 Jeep master on the brakes. the master for the brakes is for all drum, but works the tracker
    calipers just fine.

Thanks a lot! South Florida is not particularly known for its junkyards with Willys laying around. :bananatool:Mazdas and Nissans we have plenty (bad drivers)!

a lot of the parts can be adapted for Jeep service. The old jeeps are a very versatile platform. Believe me, the hydrolic clutch conversion I did is worth it's weight in leg workouts.....lol

Can you post some pics of the hydraulic conversion? I was thinking about keeping the cable pulling set-up while re-routing it to wall pedals but I'm interested in seeing what you did. Thanks!

Is the geo tracker rotor thinner than the other conversions floating around? I have seen 1 1/8 thick rotors recommended, but the geo gre way thinner than that. Thanks!

Yes, it's is a non-vented style so it is much thinner.

I'm no expert but my understanding is the vented help them stay cooler, less warp, etc. but take up more space. If you are trying to stay with original vintage rims, you have no other choice for disc. And these CJ's are light weight enough. But if you want more power then go with the Chevy conversion and newer, offset wheels.

The whole thicker 77-78 "big brakes" being better is completely bogus. The whole thing comes from the later "little brake" thin rotors being bolted to five hole bearing hubs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the five hole bearing hubs. The locking hubs bolted to the five hole bearing hubs were however complete junk! Thus the lore about being the " big brakes" are better was born.

all right....i ordered 2 sets of the brackets from brennans garage. last night i had an epiphany. questions:
would these brackets work on my FC150?
it has dana 44 front and rear, and a dana 44 is a dana 44, right?
are these geo rotors and calipers enough to stop my fc150?
i would need a dual reservoir for more fluid, but thats easy enough to stuff under the dash in a FC.

curb weight of the 1995 Geo: 2387 lbs
curb weight of the FC150: 2925 lbs.

this is just curb weight info off the internet. that is pretty close to me.
