    Thanks for link.
While waiting to get bugs out of this carb, I've installed one off an amc 258,
OMG, my jeep never ran so well, instant throttle responce,no hesitation, and it will crawl,
Down to 3-400 rpm while climbing, and still accelerate.
Can't wait till I get the right carb repaired!

    So .096 is stock.
Is it common on yf to go up a tad to compensate for the blended fuel we are now using?
I've found jets from several sites, but can't find a rod?
Also , the yf off the amc 258 won't idle below bout 800rpm?
    Idle screw all way out?
Would a smaller low speed jet tube do the trick?
I've got around 50 miles on it with no problems, I may keep this carb on engine and shelf the original?
It also has a slightly oval jet, but no flat spots or hesitation!
    Thanks

Ok, low speed jet out of old carb worked to get idle down, I'll order new jets soon as I figure out which size?

Felt a little rich, plugs show same. I installed the main jet only from the original carb,
Runs better ,especially on top, it was kinda boggy on top.
Next I'm trying the stock needle. It was .004 larger dia than the 258 carb.
Main had no numbers, but was visibly smaller than the 258 jet.
Will try to update tomorrow.after needle install.

Ok,stock rod out of cj5 carb in. Keeps getting better, now extreme low and top have Improved.
Next I'm ordering a .098 main, .096 not available, the larger .098 probably better for today's fuel anyway.
Best I can measure .100 is what is in now?
Will post as I complete each new tune.
PS-its totally drivable now, runs better than ever in all aspects except wot in higher rpm range(2500-3200).

.098 main installed. Runs great. Im leaving it alone for now.
    So to sum it up.
The 258 carb with the 134f , main jet and metering rod work fine!
