Windshield in epoxy primer. Haven't decided to black or body color.

 

Decided to go with black.

Still setting up. Looks pretty good and no runs...that I have found.

 

Slow progress but did get the windshield out of my way.

 

Haven't done much, holidays and sick eldery parents took up much of my time. I did place an order for my gauges from Speed Hut. I did that on Christmas eve, they stated on the web sight 5-6 weeks, which works fine for me. I just got off the phone with them, they called me to clear up a gauge selection issue. After speaking with them, they are going to redo my main gauge with actual water temp numbers and the extra gauge I had ordered for water temp is going to be redone as transmission temp. Even with the changes they said the gauges will go out next week. Awesome!

This is my second set I have ordered from them, the service has been fantastic on both. For any that are interested they are bringing back the Renegade cluster, should be updated on their site in the next few weeks. If you want that cluster before then, just call them.

 

Got the email last night, gauges are on the way. Now, if Ruff Stuff would just ship my order from December 20th, that would be great, they will be getting a phone call from me today.

 

I understand there laser went down but they should be catching up.

Just to let everyone know I got the hood reflectors from Termin8ed, and they look fantastic!

 

Well, have been going through about a month and half of health issues with my father, then throw in a few days with my mother and almost nothing of my projects gets done.

I did get the GenRight bumper and it is going to work out great. Saves me a ton of time trying to get the old bumper to work with my new steering and spring set up. Just placing the bumper on the frame rails and I like the look.


I also, got some work done on my dash, both with the steering mounts and switch cluster. Then I got it primed.

 

Nice choice on the paint color. I was thinking about getting that ssme genright bumper but wasnt sure how it would fit and early cj. Are welding it on or using the adapter brackets genright sells?

 

I am using the brackets that come with it. Makes it much easier to get to the steering box when necessary.

 

Got the last of the painting done. My dash is my best spray yet!

 

I'm happy to see this thread moving again

 

Lots of rain today, so did a little with the dash to get it out of the way.




and started mocking up the front bumper, hope to get the brackets welded on tomorrow.
