Saw this kit listed on CL. I think it was listed for $425.00. Called the guy and offer him $390.00 for the kit because I would have to drive to Cincinnati to pick it up. He told me he would take $380.00 and bring it to Louisville. Met the guy at midnight in a parking lot to get it.

I mocked the calipers up on a axle I had, to check and make sure that rim cleared the caliper, which it did.. The issues with this kit is, the flange on the axle needs to be turned down so the rotor can be installed. The caliper mounting bracket goes on the axle which requires more work removing bearings on the axle. Having to have this work done, will add to the cost.

Over all I am good with this, getting disc brakes ion the rear which will get away from drum brake adjustment. Will install the kit this winter or spring. Below is a link to the install instruction

Shouldn't the bleeder be above the banjo?

I used their kit. The caliper may require a ISO/Bubble flare for the brake lines.

so, what did you get the rotors/pads from? does it come with rotors and pads?

Everything needed. Caliper mounting brackets, calipers w/ e-brakes, rotors, disc brake pads, brake lines and seals. The kit I bought has powder coated calipers. One thing I like about this kit, the e-brake on the caliper. Will probably be cussing it when I run the cables.

are you going to do a dual reservoir booster? you aren't going to be able to run the stock frame mounted MC alone, right?

I have changed out the Master Cylinder. Got a kit from R&P with a Wildwood master cylinder with firewall mounted reservoirs.

The kit has flex lines going to the calipers with a banjo bolt and 2 copper washers

Those calipers look like caddy eldorado ones.

The line end of the flex line is inverted. Why? I don't know. It could of also had the brackets and clips to hold the line. Had to make my own.
Routing the brake cables to the hand brake was fun too. Had to get creative. (Sold separately)

The kit has hard lines too. From the instructions, they go to the divider block on the diff. housing

Yes. I had to shorten the lines. way to long.
