Frame Dimensions

Hello All. I am replacing my front frame horns (previous ones were cracked, torn and bent down 45*). Can I get some confirming dimensions from somewhere around the engine (engine mounts for example?) to the center line of the cross member?

I've used the 2a frame dimensions and mocked up a jig from the front spring hanger to where the new shackle hanger would be. I lined everything up and it all looks good, even with a spring bolted.

I test fitted the cross member and it seems to be about an inch too close to the grill mount. I found an overall length dimension (123-1/8") and it seems I am short.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks. I used that image to mock up my jig; the 34-3/4" CL to CL and 4-3/32 vertical offset. Problem is, it seems my horns are 1" too short and my grill might not line up. I will try imgr to host pics

thanks. I will double check the frame horn front to the cross member and report back.

 

So, good news. Front frane horn to centerline of cross memeber is 13-1/2", so I think I have that located correctly relative to the front horn.

Now I just need to confirm the grill mount dimension from something behind the cross memeber. I do have a shock mount, can anyone get me a dimension from the shock mount to the grill mount?

 

Center to center roughly 2 3/8 from the front shock rivet to rear grill mount rivet
