  7. Thanks guys! Here is the jack I used. It’s just a harbor freight scissor jack. I your my impact gun to run it up and down. It’s a life saver. It handled my T18’s/d18/overdrive without too much trouble. That’s a heavy combo probably 250lbs. It doesn’t even notice a t90/d18 combo. I couldn’t have done it without it. I used to have to install all 3 pieces separately and just used a floor jack and elbow grease. What a pain! It added at least an hour to the job. And I would ways have to buy a new overdrive snap ring. I think I paid $80 with a coupon for this jack. Well worth it! 450 lbs. Low Lift Transmission Jack

  8. I lucked out with that. My friend referred me to a shop about 35 minutes from my house. I called him Tuesday night and he said “stop by Wednesday morning.” He did it in about 20 minutes.... he even let me hang out and watch/take videos. It was an old school engine shop. And he only charged me $25! Really nice guy!

I have to remove my transmission to fix the clutch. The first step in the FSM is, "Drain the transmission and transfer case...". I didn't see you do that in the time-lapsed video. Were you able to avoid that step and not have fluid pour all over the place?

    I don't think I ever drain either?

  12. Correct, I didn’t drain anything. If you don’t remove the transfer case you really don’t have to. Just don’t tip the transmission over if you take the shifter off.
