1974 Jeep Window Frame

I was thinking of rebuilding my frame, the bottom where the heat blows though and the front lip wear I believe the seal is supposed to fit tight against is the worst part. I’m not sure exactly how the seal is supposed to fit on that front lip but mine doesn’t even come close to looking right, does anyone have suggestions or pics to show how the seal is supposed to sit correctly on the lip, does the crown seal actually work the way the OEM seal works?

The offshore rubbersare hit and miss the lip on the frame is the same plane as the bottom with the holes and about a half inch. Kinda hard to see but that’s the lip just above the hinge.

 

It’s very hard to see, I think I am now more confused , I may post a pic of my own

 

the bottom edge(where the defrost holes are ) is flat it sticks out the front outside about a 1/2 inch the rubber slides on that lip

 

from pirate you can see the lip and rubber better here the glass and frame are for an earlier one but the bottom is the same.

Ok thanks a lot, very good examples the red Jeep shows great fitment, mine is not even close, it may be the crappy omix-ada seal I have. I will try and rebuild and new crown seal,

 

Guitar the red one is later than yours like 76 or newer.it actully looks like a yj frame.
