Are FC150 Brake arms the same as a CJ?
The lower part that attaches the tube on the frame.

    What is a brake arm?

The brake arm is the cast piece that goes on the pivot tube on the underside of the frame. The brake pedal is the piece that you will step on, it slides into the top of the brake arm.

The FC's have swinging pedals with the master brake cylinder facing rearward under the dash.

OK. that is good to know. I am getting a FC150 carcass and i am hoping to use bits for the flatfender. I do believe it has a T98 so i am hoping it is in good shape. Since they are under the doghouse, i think they wont be full of water

If your not planning on using the FC body parts, are you inteested in selling off the door hinges and door window frames and glass? All I have are the door shells.
The T98 in the FC has a unique top shifter cap with remote linkage. You will need to find a cane-shift top cap from a conventional T98. I'm pretty sure they interchange.
Usually, the T98 was found in an FC170 that used the 226 straight 6, which has a long input shaft. I have seen a T98 once in an FC150 that may be more compatible with your flat-fender stuff. The f-134 w/T98 is pretty rare I think.

When i get it i will let you see what is left. It is a chop top rig now unfortunately. The Jeep was at a hunting lease and the removed everything and made it a flatbed to haul hunters to their stands fc4.jpeg

My friend says it is a 44.
Still hoping it is a T98 to a 4cyl. He said it was a 4 cyl when last looked.

  15. it's a wide track then, which is about the same track as a standard pickup. no reason why he'd want that one in particular, other than it's already there?

I know he has plans to put it in a m37 he has. Not sure why he wants to put this in. But he is gonna do that

I think all the 170s had a 226 flathead 6, which I'm pretty sure has the long transmission input shaft for the deep bellhousing. I'd be suprised if it would mate up to an F-134.
Yes, a 170 widetrack should have a D44 up front.
Yes, the door hinges are MIA. Whats left of the cab looks like it is acually quite un-rusted. I'd be interested in the rear cab corners, and the "wing" extensions at the cowl/dash corners. They changed those from narrow track to wide track, and my doors are the later version that I have for my narrow track.
