    I certainly agree, especially the millions of them they put on chips in smartphones and the like. Major evolutionary wrong turn. :D

    Got one going to the radio restoration guy this week. keeping it AM. <edit> Opps realized thread is early CJ radio. Still cool..AM retro.

    Can anybody hear a radio in a jeep anyway? Just excess weight IMO. Like the heater. :D

    My 64 CJ5 jeep Motorola brand AM radio has both transistors and tubes.
