I bought anchor 2383 and 2384 motor mounts to replace the originals on a 71 cj5. Both had no part#s or L or R stamps on them when they arrived.
I took the right one off first and put the new one on and the pin hole was off an entire hole from the motor mount hole (pic with ground wire)
Took it back off and measured new vs old and and new was less than 2-1/2 from block to pin hole. Old was 2-3/4 from block to pin hole.
Decided to try the left side to see if it would fix itself.
Put the new one on and had the same problem, pin hole off an entire hole from the motor mount hole
Left side new measured 2-3/8 from block to pin and old was 2-5/8. (second pic)
So, wrong motor mounts or is there something I need to do that I’m not doing?

I've always had to use a drift pin or something to get the the holes lined up. Measure across your frame rails under the motor mounts I've seen the occasional spread between the rails there too

Drift pin x2 also a ratchet strap and 1 large piece of lumber for a little persuasion.

X3 on ratchet straps and a pry bar. You should try swapping left to right to see if it makes a difference. They have different part numbers but for the life of me, I can't tell whats different left tor right even having them side-by-side. From your pictures, it looks like your frame might be spread, so a ratchet strap to pull the rails closer together might help.

Do you still have the old ones that came off the frame? From memory the r / l are asymmetrical. It might help to use the definitive R (or L) one to confirm which is which on the new set.
For what it’s worth I did this…and then I still had to use a drift pin and pry bar to get them to line up on install anyway.

Appreciate the suggestions. I’m going to dig into it more later this week
