Does anyone have pictures of a 68 tail light assembly? I'm getting closer to finishing up the rersto on my 68 and have all kinds of tail lights and wondering which are correct. Thanks in advance.

‘68 might have still been using the Hall 701 lights. Soon after Kaiser went to the Grote tail lights with the larger lens. The ‘68/‘69 era Jeeps went through a lot of Federal Safety Mandates where things like lighting and reflectors changed. I think its Fireball that has a collection of original example ‘68s?

The tail lights on the '68 are rusty enough they look original and are the Hall 701 style:

    Walcks has reproductions:

Yes, Those are the Hall 701 lights. Walcks repro light have the “150” style lens without the center prizm reflector. There are eBay reproductions, maybe out of Thailand that have the correct “701” style lense, and they’re similar money. Actually, the overseas lights are surpisingly good quality.
