Warn Overdrive Leaks

I'm trying to seal up a few leaks on the Jeep and I have a pretty decent one on the Warn Overdrive. The overdrive has been in place for about 18 years now and it's just as I got it from Herm. It seems to be leaking from the bearing cap and the bolts that hold the cap in place. Is there a recommended type of gasket material to use on the bearing cap surface? Should I put a dab of RTV on the bolt threads?

The bolts are supposed to have sealing washers since they go into the oiled area. You can get a new gasket/seal kit from Advance Adapters with what you need for a decent price: https://www.advanceadapters.com/4953

I have had decent luck puting a thin coat of anaerobic sealant on both dides of the gaskets and bolt threads.

I hesitate to mention this because I don't want to jinx it, but I recently put my tcase & OD together with Permatex Right Stuff, and it's bone dry! I've never had a leak free Jeep before!

I like trying the simplest fix first.
Clean the oil, do each step, and see if the leak seals up.
I would start by insuring the bolts are tight.
If they are, might pull them one at a time and put a dab of sealant on the threads.
If that doesn't fit it, then a bit around the gasket.

Mine leaks in that exact same spot. Going to get new gaskets and try Right Stuff.

The leaks on my ECJ5 were free too, the seller didn't charge extra for them.

It looks like bob's unit has the rubber center washers on the appropriate bolts. he just needs to put thread locker or antiseize on the cap bolts and snug em up better.
