I took my steering Column out to lift the body off the frame. And it kinda came apart on me. Does anyone where the line that runs all way through the column goes to? It kinda looks like a brake line but is attached to the horn I think?

I can’t figure out how to post a picture of it.

It's just a guide for the horn wire.

Are you talking about the horn wire? It grounds the horn so the horn will work. The wire runs from your horn button, through the column and to the negative side of the horn.

There is a metal guide tube for the horn wire that runs through the steering box. The guide tube runs a little way up into the column, above the oil level of the actual steering box.

x2. I think the primary purpose is to keep the oil where it belongs.
