I actually worked on that yesterday
It is very cold now. About 8* Supposed to get colder overnite and more of the same the rest of the week. Yea I know I'm a cold weather wimp.
I had a local propane supplier set 2, 100 gal tanks at my shop. There's one on the other side also. Now, the truck will fill them and I don't have to manhandle them. I had the 100lb tanks, but seemed like I was always out of gas.

    Awesome!!!
Check your instructions on left vs right for those rotors.
And you know we are working on some high clearance u-bolt plates so don't torque those u-bolts all the way if you want to join the que.

I've always gone with OXed and Locked... but that's just me :D. I yoke the rear a lot, front only in a few bad spots.

Well I've made a little progress. I have the T15 /D18 combo on the floor.
Now I have to deal with the big hole/ small hole difference in the tcase, because the Novak adapter for the tcase is a small hole version.
Don't matter but so much, because I have a small hole case that is attached to a T90 that just needs resealed.
    Just for comparison
    [IMG]
the case in the back is actually a small hole d18 that was bored out and used the ring in the foreground as the trans bearing retainer for the t15

Well, I have run upon another issue. My pilot bushing from Novak is incorrect OD.
Novak has pilot on GM engines, ( crankshaft ID) at 1.09 OD. My current pilot from the T15 swap is 1.164 OD. A difference of .074. Way too much. No issue with the pilot bushing ID. For the Ford T18 it is .67 I think.
    Anybody run into this before?
Where can I find the correct pilot bushing?
    Any help appreciated.

I thought 1.09 was the number for GM cranks. I would call Novak and tell them what you're trying to do. AA also.

I talked to Jeff at Novak today and he told me the crank should be 1.09, but it isn't. The bushing I got out of my crank today measured 1.164 OD , and I would have sworn that it came from Novak when I swapped in the T15.
I looked on the TA Performance website but didn't find anything.
AA will be my next call, unless someone else can give me some much needed guidance.

Talked to Alex at AA tday and he did help me. Not gonna be a perfect fit but its doable. OD will have to be turned down to fit the crank.

It moves again. it's outside the shop
    [IMG]
rather than drop the crossmember, I recessed the trans mount
    [IMG]
I really don't like the spacers, but I'll use them until I find wheels or a better method

just a pic of the front

    and rear

haven't even started on this mess yet, or the OX manual actuator cables and levers

just to show when I finished the implant.
had to put the same speedo cable back for now because the one I bought had the wrong thread pitch on the lower end.:banghead:

Had a little time tday. Took me a while to decide how I wanted to do this. I'm an old school kinda guy so I went with manual actuator levers for the OX lockers.
Maybe not the perfect picture but, you get the idea.

lookin straight down between the seats, with cables coming thru the floor riser
and that left enough room for the 50 cal. ammo can/ console
    [IMG]
and now I gotta move on to the transmission hump.
