What year is it titled as? Other than the model and engine the first part of serial number will tell you nothing about the year. The 511121 which is the sequential may give you a rough idea what year it was built. Somebody here was collecting serial number info, they may be able to help. Check the drivers side door opening right up by the hinges, right around 69 they started putting a VIN tag there with the build date. Other than that post a picture of the front end, could help narrow it down a bit depending on what park/signal lights it has, whether it has side marker lights or just reflectors on the front, etc.

As stated above, you will need to know what year it is. Some confusing info... Prefix model # '67-'73 8705F, station wagon, full length metal hardtop.Serial # for year's '67-'71, 87 C-101, 05 open body,f station wagon,1 left hand drive,7 v-6 w/emissions. Hope this helps.

I'm going through this with mine too, I have no papers for it and the door plaque is gone...from some items like the front signals and the hood side markers, I've been able to figure out its either a late 1969 or early 1970.
