Looks like you got a good build going. What transmission do you have that needs rebuilt? What motor is in it? I will be selling a T15 here as soon as I put in my NP435.

i am not sure because i could never get it in but one gear or so, and i am no jeeper yet i am a chevy guy. I think all that is out in it is one bushing or a set of needle bearings, hopefully its an ez fix, the gears look to be in good shape but the upper gear cluster that rides on that upper shaft is very loose like there is nothing between them

Rebuild kits are purdy darn cheap for those trannys. Yours is a 3-speed correct? What motor is it bolted too? There are several different 3-speeds found in jeeps. I am also a Chevy guy and fairly new to the jeep era. But im liking it so far!

i welded the rear axle, it has 373 gears in it. Got the trans/tcase seperated. Finished up brakes minus all new metal line. Started to mount seats and then stopped cuz i couldnt find any flat stock. Ordered a switch panel from jegs monday and am still waiting for it to come in.

made new seat brackets and lowered the seats 4inches, then shortened the steering columb 3inches to compensate

got the jeep painted flat black rustoleum, painted the hubs red and added chrome lug nutz. Put on rear tail lights for ppl can see me at night. Went to orileys and spent another 200 on more brake parts, lines, master cyl, brake tools, ect. Got me a kick *** deal on some 31inch a/t's so that we dont have to worry bout a blow out as much in colorado. He wanted 25 a piece, there firestones, one is a michelin cuz one of the others was bad. Used some old aluminum diamond plate running boards i had laying around to make the fancy lil skirting at the bottom to hide the nasty body.
