Thanks for the kind words guys. It's been a fun build and I learned plenty. Still have more projects for the Jeep, as we all know they are never done. Future projects include building a tire carrier and center console. New wheels and tires will be in place soon and eventually a used Warn winch.

IMHO the V6 and T-18 or T-98 combo is hard to beat, the low granny gear is perfect for wheelin' Right now I have 4.27 gears. I will have to report back once I have some miles under the axles.

Just put 150 miles on her and all is well for now. The pessimist in me keeps waiting for something to break or fail, so I continue driving her with anticipation of disaster. She drives straight, stops straight, and hums along with all the great sounds of an early CJ. Like I said before, she's not finished but slappin' some fancy stickers on her felt like I'm done (for now).

    Wow, that looks great!

  12. That is outstanding, just got myself caught up with your last couple pages and that great video.
Your at my favorite stage of a build, still working on side projects to improve it overall, but you
can drive it whenever you want.
    Congratulations!

The decals look great. Did you get the ones for the valve covers too?

Thanks Jonah. I just ordered a shifter dash decal from them. By the way, the valve cover decals are half as much from the link I posted above. $15.95 for two instead of $14.00 for one.

Added a Rancho steering stabilizer. Part RS97345. Hooked up nicely and helps absorb the bumps in the road. Not sure how it clears everything, but it does. Of course that may change when I get twisty in the rocks :)

Bolted up some wheels and tires. Tires are BF Goodrich KM2, 33x10.50. and aluminum 15x8 wheels with 3.3" backspace.
