    Hey Guys
I've been searching but can't find the answer! Will 231 valve covers fit a 225? I've only found one place that sells covers for a 225, T A Performance but @ $240 a set. I'm looking for an alternative.

I used the covers off of a 231 on my 225 they were chrome the bottom holes have to be moved out just a little to make them fit the top holes are the same as the 225. hope this helps.

    Nice Photo!
Thanks for the input, I've been working on the stock covers with some crome paint. They look okay but I'll probably go for some 231 covers now.

Some early 80's Buicks had aluminium valve covers.

  5. Will they fit? What about the wierd breather tube?

That makes me feel a little better...I bought a pair of Holly covers (the silver ones in the pic), and am waiting patiently to put them on my rebuilt engine...they look like these e-bay ones, but you do need to cut the holes in them for the breather...

From my research, those "slotted" holes are what allows it to mate to a 225. I did compare mine to the stock ones and the holes lined up.
