Ok not sure if I am missing something. Just had a truetrac installed in my rear Dana 44. Jacked both rear wheels off ground while spinning one wheel the other wheel turns the opposite way with the tranny in neutral and in gear ????

They operate like an open diff until there is a torque difference.
"TrueTrac performs like a conventional (open) differential, until there is a loss of traction. Only then will the torque transfer occur - when it is needed."
    Quoted from the article. http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/TrueTrac.shtml

There should be a tech sheet for checking all of that in the product. If not, check thier site as I know I had them from a different Detroit in the past.
