seem to be in great shape for a 1800$ jeep. To give information we need to know what are you're planning doing with the jeep. There is a lot a modification you can do depending on what on intend to do with it.

Personnaly one of the first thing i'll do is a complet replacement of all fluid in the jeep (axle transmission, t-case, engine). Double check the prestone and braking oil.

I'll also do a brake job, those jeep come with all corner drum brake that need to be check often. If you're planning doing some off-road you may want to do a disq brake conversion, i'll improve a lot the braking capacity and you won't loose braking power on trail.

With a glass tub one of the big thing i hated the most was the mechanical clucht, on situation i needed some flex i was totaly losing all clutch power on pedal. You can go over a hydrolic clutch conversion that solve this issu.

Thanks for the info...not looking to do any "heavy" off roading, mostly street, prolly some shows, def planning on doing disc swap on the font, maybe all around, points ignition already done, has a HEI Distributor, have to check out grounding situation cause when I turn it over or a while(needs carb leaning/adjusting I think) the battery terms and wires get hot..and planning on doin fluid flush on everything too.

When your talking about the glass tub and loosing clutch power, what do you mean...
    Thanks!

Hum difficult to explain my case...frame use to twist sometime under heavy load like climbing. Torque from engine (little movement), a fiberglass body doesnt have the rigidity like a steel one, and on a steel body you have some kind of subframe under it that help the frame itself (give more rigidity to the frame). You add all these thing together clutch failure is prompt to happen. Also going to hydro clucht is almost a bolt-on modification. The 1980's and up cj7 with the 4 cylinder engine come factory with the hydro-clucht. The slave cylinder is bolt-on on the bellhousing and you just need to adapt it to the firewall. IMAo clutch is lot more smoother than before, i wont go back to mechanical.

For the body issu, i made last year my home made subframe, i was able to see a major différence on and off the road.

Awesome looking sub frame!! Think I might tackle that and the clutch swap.
    Thanks for the info!
