Ever seen those magnetic mounted lights for towing? I removed the light from one I found along the road and attached a mount for the camera. Must be lighter than the original light because so far it has held.

No kidding! What kind of camera? Regular hand-held video camera, or one of those dinky little hideaway things?

It is the Kodak Playsport , water resistant and durable so far. Bad in low light.

Very cool. I gave up on my belt drive turbo project a few years back because the stock Carter wouldn't hold fuel under even 2 lbs of boost. It was getting blown out through the bottom linkage. I addressed the fuel delivery with a Dial-A-Jet from Thunder Products which mounted nicely on the carb with the air intake vent for it run through the firewall. I never got it far enough along to have to deal with timing issues. Did you get far enough along with the stock carb where you addressed the leaking fuel issue?
    Great job.

I figured my stock carter would have those accelerator pump linkage fuel issues, and Had a Holley single with no linkage issues, a piston accelerator pump and bigger jets then an f-head really needs.
I sealed an off the shelf pressure regulator and pipped in charge pressure, the internal Diaphragm gives it 1:1 and has not failed yet at 4lbs... If only I didn't have a sweat smelling white smoke out the exhaust...

    nothing good,
what are you looking for? I have a camera,
all out stop light to stoplight, from a roll bar mount so you can see the gauges,
mind I can only go a few miles before its out of oil.

I need to talk my way into the automotive shop's dyno but it can't read anything under 30mph due to a wheel speed issue and at best the dyno would be at 10% so it would not be accurate.
I'm 90% sure i have a cracked head gasket, warn rings, weak springs, burnt valves, a worn cam, worn valve guides, even the pads on the tips of the rocker arms are worn .020" (most is due to 1000 mi road trips on the highway 24hrs at 3200rpm each trip)

    here is a little video
    top speed 60mph, 0-60 40sec
    3lbs boost (gauge on column)
temp went from 160 to 210f (next to speedo)
oil pressure... 35-45psi (under ignition keys)
Oil level from 5qts to 4
tried mounting the camera to the passenger seat...

and this is my magical placement

wow. thanks for doin that video. Pretty helpful. Just ordered a rebuild kit for the t25 and.... I noticed no intercooler. Would it really make a difference?

fuel will collect inside the intercooler with a draw thru setup, and the effectiveness of one low speed or at 3psi is not exactly worthwhile, in my eye it would most likely heat soak from the radiator on the trail.
it would be interesting to see how much you could load the 3 main bearings, and the connecting rods.
I never mentioned it but the oil system of my blow through just uses the external oil plug midway on the side of the block, one of the reasons my oil pressure fluctuates so much. If you love to tinker go for it but remember it will only multiply torque not increase redline or make it more reliable. the only guerentee is shorter times between overhaul.

What sorts of mods did you do to the Solex? Did you have to switch Jets & such?

    Details, please!

No modifications, bolted straight on with no change. I could get away with this because it was a draw through system.

"Just get this out of the way first: Yes I know an engine swap would make more sense and HP, I did it because I like to tinker and this project makes me smile. I also understand how your buddy's/girlfriend's/mother-law's fuel injected, blown jeep is way cooler/faster than mine. "

To be honest I find it hard to say much of anything would be cooler in a classic Jeep. I still have my F134 also. I know someone who made a megasquirt for theirs, and I might do the same at some point.
