Can someone tell me what the holes on my 68' windshield are for? I don't want to weld them up if they are stock and serve a purpose. There are two holes about 3/8" in diameter on each side towards the top that go all the way through the frame. Then there are about a half dozen 1/8" holes that are only on the inside of the frame. All of the holes are in the black (original paint area) in the pic below. Both drivers and passengers sides have matching holes. My ECJ did have a Kelly Hardtop so could these be for some kind of door seal? Thanks for the help.

Looks like where the channel mounted for the soft door to slide into.

Small ones I think are the channel, large ones are for the top half of the soft door hinge.
