I bought a new brake pedal arm for my 69, and it won't work with a dual master cylinder. KaiserWillys and all other vendors I've searched only carry the early version. They have a Small pin for the MC.
They all list it for 41-71 CJ's. I'm going to have to modify this new one. Has anyone run into this? Thanks in advance.

IIRC, there is a 4 cyl brake pedal and a V6 brake pedal. The V6 pedal has more of a bend in it for clearance. No one makes new/replacement pedal for the V6, only for the 4 cyl.
Of course, few of the retailers know about the V6 pedal, so they repeat bad/incomplete info.
The option some of us have used is to have a bushing pressed into the worn pivot area of the V6 pedal, to get back to factory clearance (and replace the cross tube).

Our forum member Mcruff can re-bush a V6 pedal arm for you. He did one for me some years ago.

McGruff hooked me up with a new pedal bushing and stub for the MC. It is an awesome job too. Thanks McGruff!
