Starter Issue With V-6

    I'm having a starter problem on my Dauntless V6. I keep burning up the wire from ignition S post to
    the starter S post. I have nothing connected to the R post on starter. What am I missing?? Thanks for
    your help!!

    bad starter solenoid . may be grounded
