Indicator lights

does anyone know the part number for the little light bulbs for the dash indicator lights? I want to keep it stock as it only has 10,000 miles on it. I bought a set of aftermarket ones and they do not match the originals.

For the bayonet-base dash cluster bulbs, the book says GE 53, 158 or 1816. Not more specific than that - says "as required." You can look up each of these bulbs and they will have a candlepower rating. Pick higher or lower, more or less bright, to your preference.

 

Yeah but $70.00 vs. $4.00 to repair the originals. Saw a post a few years back but haven't been able to find it.

 

You mentioned mismatched lenses....
You know you can pry off the chrome bezels and remove lenses from your originals and transplant them into the aftermarket ones you bought.

 

I know but for $70.00 I returned them. Still hoping to find the bulb P/N but if I have to I will order about 20 different ones for about $10. Already have them apart.
