i got my new brake hoses in the other day ( i got rubber ones ) well they have 1/8 stamped on them and this is where i have a dilema. i was going to get a coil of line but don't know what size to get. i also have herms dual master conversion kit. i talked to him and he said i needed to get 1/4 inch lines but how would i run those into my 1/8 in hoses? or do i need to get 1/8 inch line also? thanks for your help

Are you sure that was'nt 1/8" as in the NPT fitting and not the line size. My factory brake hard lines are I think 3/16" and could even be 1/8" but I'm sure they were not 1/4". I think herm meant 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings on the end of an 1/8" lines.

I'll bet they're 3/16". 1/8" would be too small, you'd never get enough fluid through them.

You will need 3/16 lines with 3/8-24 ends. for the master you will need to get the adapter to go from whatever the output is to go to the inverted flare 3/8 fittings. flaps should have these. Take the rubber lines with you just to make sure they have 3/8-24 on the hard line end.
