Does anyone have any pictures of the arctic top mounting brackets? I need to know what these brackets look like because I'm going to try and make a set and adapt them to a Koenig hardtop

I will look through my stuff in the shipping container. I have an artic top. I thinnk there were 1 or 2 offset brackets, not harrd to fab. I will check when I get back home to see if I can find one or 2.

When we brought it home we used c-clamps to keep it on and the spare parts inside.
Looks like the manual for the M38 is TB 9-2855-4. Mine is an M38A1 artic and it had a combination of parts with it.
some were off set brackets and some were simply an j hook with a washer and nut. Didn't look military.

This is one off of the WillysMjeeps site. More information there. Funny thing, the M38A1 Artic top has plywood doors.

I have a set of M38A1 j-hooks that are made to hold down the arctic top. I just can't seem to find what the bracket looks like.

Went out and found what I had.
One was a bracket that fit where the top bow bracket bolts on. Made from 2'' by 2'' probably 14ga.
3/8'' bent over at 90 degrees. The hles have welded on nuts.
The bolt holes line up with the top bow bracket holes in the body.

Looks prety easy to fab up.

Hope this helps, I think you can fab these up.

I have an Artic top I used to run on my Tux. The inner lower edge has a number of "loops" for the J-bolts, which then catch under the edge of the tub upper rail. The threaded end faces up. I used to use small clamps to hold the top header to the windshield frame.

Are they wire loops welded to the top or are they riveted?

My top is in NC and I am in Florida. I'll be up in NC this coming weekend, and can check out the details then. If I recall, the loops (U-shaped) may be about 5/8" wide and may be riveted onto the inner lower rail. They are similar in shape to the socket side used for a barrel-bolt type door latch. I don't recall any of the other (rusty) brackets that were posted by Dave Deyton above.

I just PM'ed you for an eMail address so I can send a photo of the arctic top fastening loops for the j-bolts. They are bolted on with round head slotted screws.

I never installed my Artic top. The rusty bracket may not be to install that top, but it was in with that hardware and the bolts lined up with the top bow holes, so I was just guessing.
It has plywood doors. Never looked that close, but it had 6 J bolts with it.
