Does anyone know about when the glove box doors were changed from this configuration:

....to this type, with the arc-shaped travel limiter?:

So it was the other way around, and the limiter type glove box doors were earlier?

My '67 has the non-limited type, but I'd assumed the limiters came later in production.

If yours is original, Walt, that helps narrow down the approximate date of the production change. My '67 was built in August of 1966, and does not have the glove box door limiter. Its deletion was probably a cost-cutting measure by Kaiser between late ‘65 and mid- ‘66.

My '64 Tux had the limit bar held on with acorn shaped speed nuts.
There were also several sizes and styles of push buttons to open the glovebox, small round, large round, and "keyhole" (not neccessarily locking!). Some of the round style have a bracket bolted on for the pushbutton to attach to the door.
