Ok, NOW I need to put this away and clean the shop.

Rear shock mounts are tacked in place.

I threw a wheel on to check clearances. I have about 1 3/4" between the tire and shock body. The tire might rub a little under full flex, but I don't have much of a choice. It's the only place this will fit without using a drastically shorter shock or mounting it at a sharp angle.

I do too, I just wish the rims were narrower. It took a whole lot of starter fluid to get them to seat. :twist: :contract: It won't take much effort to blow them off the bead in an aggressive turn.

One last shot. I got the old axle back under it this morning to make it a roller again, and I threw the windshield on to see how the driver's visibility will be.

The deposit check for this upcoming job must be coming pony express, so I dug out the wiring harness for this engine's car.

If any of you just love wiring, feel free to come help.

I have a very similar pile-o-wires that came with a 4.3 I bought. Every time I start looking at it, it makes me want to go have a nap.

I finally got around to disassembling the Rodeo axle so I can ship off a side gear along with the axle shaft to get shortened. They like to have a mating spline to check their work.

I made some tabs to aid in Trak-Loc dis/reassembly. If anyone needs to use them, let me know.

I like the fact they want a side gear to check their work.
