    Gents,

Where does this sticker belong on an intermediate? Does it belong at all?

This has been discussed before, if you search.

IIRC, it may go right above the steering column on Earlies but members reported that exact locations varied, somewhat at random.

As mentioned above, the location on the dash varies. Also, Your transfer case shift pattern is for the single-stick D18 used from '64 to '71. I believe the pattern changed with the D20 in '72.
At top should be 4H, then 2H, then N, finally 4L at the bottom. The two top positions are reversed.

Chilly, if you are asking in regard to your 1973 CJ5 SuperJeep, 304 V8, T15 transmission, D20 transfer case--I'd say from my research it was not original to the dash. I have yet to find a shift pattern decal on a stock '73, though I find them without.

Mine was original dash and it didn't have one on it. Would like one though.

None of my three factory original CJs with a Dana 20 had a dash sticker. The transfer case knob was marked with the shifter positions.

Ok then. I'll start looking for an early CJ5 that'll fit my sticker. "Jeep seeds"

Isn't the shift pattern on that sticker wrong for an intermediate? IIRC 4HI is all the way forward on a 20 single-stick.

Makes perfect sense to me; it would be a cryin' shame to let a sticker like that go to waste! (y)
